#98750 RE: DewDiligence #98748

Dew,

Given that most major economists--left, center and right--are predicting either a double-dip recession for Europe and the U.S. or extremely anemic growth over the next 18 months or so, is it your thesis that the BRIC (Brazil, Russia, India, China) and the MAT (Mexico, Argentina, Turkey) countries will lead the global economy to much faster growth and carry the U.S.--at least, the stock market, if not the economy--along with it?

Where do you see the S&P going by the end of 2010? 2011?

Doesn't your global resources investment thesis depend, to a large extent, on growth in the global economy? Or do you simply assert that the next eighteen months, in terms of global GDP, are irrelevant to your investment goals, i.e., that your time horizon is so much longer out that the next eighteen months hardly matter? Or do you think that global resource investments can buck the trends in the overall global economy, especially the anemic growth predicted for the U.S. and Europe?

IF predictions of a double-dip recession (or very close to it) prove true for the U.S. in the next eighteen months, does that in any way affect your investment theses in either biotech, pharma or global resources and, if so, how?

INTC just posted its best quarter ever on all major financial metrics.
