TA, something that I learned about Rich for the first time at open house was that he suffered from Rheumatoid Arthitis. I,unfortunately, suffer from this affliction as well. It is a chronic, crippling and agononisingly painful affliction. The medications you take for this disease are as dangerous as the disease itself. I have tried many different meds over the past five years and to the chagrin of my rheumatologist, the only thing that keeps ME functioning is a daily dose of steroids. Tomarrow, I'll be going for a bone density test to see if my bones look like swiss cheese, a side effect of long term steroid usage.
Why, do you ask is this relevent to this board???? There are claims that the mineral springs have curative powers over this disease as well as many others. I have seen posters make fun of Rich because of his limp.As a fellow RA sufferer, I did not find it funny. From what I can gather, Rich bought SEVU's share of the springs for personal reasons along with the tie-in to the SEVU underwater camera. It is an extremely wealthy resource from an archeological standpoint!!!!! Combine the two incentives and it makes PERFECT sence to me. SH
