Total Bummer if you are not in tomorrow for the share distribution IMO...Ive spent many hours over the past few days trying to get to the bottom of this, and after speaking with three brokers and just got an email response from Jack Zwicker at KATX he said the PR states very clearly the record date of the 16th not once but twice... record date may not mean anything but generally it means "record date" that is the date when the company sees who is a shareholder of record on that date...and unfortunately if you buy on or after the 16th you most likely would not be considered a shareholder of record on the record date of the 16th...play it however you folks want but I firmly believe tomorrow is it...fwiw
