my guess? I think he is tired of the personal attacks and stigma that some posters have placed on him. I would guess he thinks it is better to take himself out of the picture to squash any negative aspects that would hinder the accomplishments and the future of the company. Regarding the company overall, I would say that it is "just starting" now that they have the suit behind them. It should be all up hill from here if things are done right.
I agree but I wonder if the cost involved in hiring a CEO will really pay enough dividends to justify the expense. Certainly if he takes the company to great new heights its well worth it but I'm not unhappy letting Barnett stay at the wheel. He guided the company thru some pretty tough storms. He has my confidence.
