zeev, what do you make of the SJ for RMBS in the Hynix case and
the somewhat muted reponse from the market.

usually these somewhat milestone events trigger a bigger run
that lasts for muliple days.

This one burned out fast. looks like no believes the end game
is near enough and they arent going to play the small victories
anymore. Especially with payne about to rule in Virginia.

Or is it more market related.

ZH - The economy is shaky now. A consumer led recession would in my view push it over the cliff into depression. The consequences would be overwhelming coming as they would when the twin deficits are high and the global economy needs some time to recuperate from having just emerged from the business slump of 2001 - 2002.

Such a consumer recession would undoubtedly drag the housing market into play as well. And all this with the Fed hell bent on increasing interest rates. What a concution <g>.
