I just read the discussions, which can be a little technical. I had thought we had gotten rid of it. On Thursday it had spun down so much it looked like it had turned back into just a wave. They didn't even bother to give a 5 pm report. They give them every six hours. And at one time they had it going east of Florida. Predicting hurricanes is very much an art. So far it looks like you'll just get some wind and rain. Most of the strength appears to be on the east and southeast side.

If you click on the archive you can get all the past forecasts. And don't be surprised that after reading the actual reports, you'll be scratching your head over the local TV and radio forecasts.
