Look at the chart. I'd say they first found out about it last Friday, then others found out late Monday or early Tuesday. Probably not pre-arranged, but those that knew didn't let the opportunity to increase their positions go to waste.
Those who are calling this a scam are only partially correct. It is manipulated to the extreme, but it's NOT worthless paper.
