I think anytime a Billionaire does something that risks his life on an international stage, it is going to get the attention of the news outlets. Look at the Billionaire astronauts that went to the space station. Somehow people heard about them without the aid of Kendrick.
But you do bring up a good point about Kendrick being connected and having the marketing savvy to bring Mineseeker to the attention of a lot of people. He already seems to have started with the recent radio interview in London.
Successful tests in Croatia will be what propels Mineseeker the most. I would also venture a guess that approaching Harry would happen after the tests. Harry would not want mom's name on the side of a helicopter that does not pass the tests. We know they WILL likely pass the tests, but the safest thing to do would be wait until after the tests before giving a public go ahead.
