What she did involved pennies.. literally.. and heck, her sale was a mistake because if she held she woulda made a bundle.. I think any self respecting judge would look at what it did to her reputation, her net worth, and said- time served...
I recall some time back when I was in court there was this fella.. He was charged with possession of 1/2 ounce of marijuana.. but in NJ, they decided to take the seeds in the bag and count each one as conspiracy to harvest and counted each one as a plant.. Make a long story short, he did 2 years, and when I was in court he was in there because he violated probabation by producing a dirty 'sample'...
The judge read this huge list of hardships that happened to this guy when he was in jail.. His daughter died at age 10 car accident, his wife left him, and 1 week after he got out of jail his house burnt down.. The judge let him slide on the dirty sample..
