I suppose the key to that strategy is to know when taking the trade that your planning it to be an average down, so you allocate accordingly..

I think this is why there is so much pain here when the market pulls these surprise ups and downs because folks allocate for a scalp, then it becomes a position, then they are faced with averaging down, praying, hoping : )
