That is not true. I live in San Antonio for the last 2 years and I know what I'm talking about. Lots of unsold homes in the MPC that I'm in (Alamo Ranch) and the houses go up in a veeery slow basis... very slow and dull real estate market... and is mainly because of the very high property taxes... in vegas I owned a home that was 50% bigger in SqFt and had 5 times the appraise value of what the house in Texas is and my property taxes were HALF what they are now.
The truth is we have 500k people a year moving here..
.. I'm so pleased Texas is so welcoming to their neighbors from south of the border ...perhaps that's why your state has the largest amount of uninsured people in the country ?
