I have made this point in the past, but I will repeat it now.

Most of the people I know are going to non contract phones. They are of course losing their "new every two" plans and now must pay for the phone they select, so are buying semi-smart querty phones because of the high cost of (if you can get them) smart phones, such as the droid.

The list of people I know that is going to StraightTalk is growing and I don't think they even sell smart phones. I live in mid America far outside any metropolis.

Regardless of the type of phone I use it will be far easier for me to test Walmart to Go800 to see if a a sales item is in stock when I know where my Walmart is located.

This is still even good with upgraded phones!

And people especially the younger generation are lazy!

This will continue to grow! And new phases are in the works!

I find this still easy to remember!!

Say a local lottery advertises on the radio a 800 number to call in to get a ticket!!

I am sure the droid will find this number for you!! NOT!!!

But I will know the name of the lottery and text the name and will buy a ticket!!

I would beat you by a mile getting the last ticket before you even typed in the lottery in your droid!

I would be connected in 8 seconds!! so who would get the last ticket!! LOL

Hach, I mean no disrespect, but have you actually done any research or DD on GOIG or Go800 other than on this board? If not, perhaps you should consider doing some before telling your friends how it works and asking them if they would use it. JMO
