You made a statement that most any American with any vague knowledge of recent current events would consider idiotic.

Why did you "pen" the following statement?

The September 11th, 2001 tragedy was seized as an excuse to put troops on the ground in the Middle East. It is facile to imagine that it had anything to do with a search for terrorists. If Osama Bin Laden didn't exist, they'd have invented him.
