You mean you never did the math. If just guessing he's "only" taking $5 out of the market a day and trading say 1,000 shares at a time and 20 days a month and how many months in a year. But what if he is doing 5,000 share buys?

There's somebody on here, maybe it's justamother, that trades her husbands 401k. She came up with a fairly low risk, low cost way to trade the foreign funds in the 401k. Since they usually follow us, if we were up pretty good, she would buy in at the close and capture their move up. Was doing as much as 30% a year, but thinks will do 20% this year. Said if I remember right, only needs to do 12% a year for the next eight and her husband can then retire at 55. So does it work? She's doing her version of it.

I'm just trying to get people to put their thinking caps on. It looks like the days of a million dollars going for under $10,000 are over, so we are going to have to work a little harder at it. But not that much harder.
