#212758 RE: Yanik #212746

I completely agree with you. I would only add that Nelson told the court directly today that he doubts the Debtors will be able to resolve all issues by June 30th because there are many and they are substantial.

The judge realizes this too. You'll also note that Rosen never pushed for the current DS/POR to be approved today. And he also acknowledged that they're in "Good Faith Talks" and any settlement with the EC (i.e. Numbers) will take some time to hash out.

So I think we're out of the woods, so to speak, in regards to the POR/DS in its current form. It was filed a couple days ago and it's already a moot point.

No matter what POR/DS is filed, JMW has made it clear that she will not approve it without evidence/justification/factual numbers backing it.

The EC is in the driver's seat now.

Yanik, probably but not enough to satisfy the EC and Susman to be sure, but it's a first step towards a meaningful settlement.
I didn't think JPM will roll over or the FDIC, however an independent examiner might still be needed to smack them good.
