The news today was amazing. After a ho-hum speech last night, President Obama locks in a $20 billion initial non-cap committment from BP, a suspension of their dividends(Quite right ol' Boy!),and an APOLOGY. This came AFTER the heart and soul of the GOP, and their wonkish stepchild teabag wing with Aunty Sarah and that non-certified Dr. Paul, cried Obama was too rough on BP!! Or too easy, or whatever these wackos do for fake outrage. Remember, just recently, the GOP Reps. in Congress BLOCKED the Bill to raise the cap of BP's liability from $75 million to $10 billion!! My homeboy President doubled that, and he walked softly, but he carried a BIG STICK. I wonder how much the GOP ACTUALLY planned to bailout BP AGAIN this time? I'm sure if Dick Armey, and his Army of grassroot corporate interest protectors, or any Chenian Bushite would order the Government to pay for the bulk of this disaster that their deregulation cronyistic team created. And they would probably spend whatever money they would get that trickled in, subcontracting the work out to the non-productive wing of their party, while they would have re-tried to suspend the Davis-Bacon act again, and hire more people without visas. Good thing this GOP disaster happened under Obama, the GOP has shown, once again, that they would have thrown BP multi-billion welfare, and scraps to the people affected. Take note!!
