The word "intends" is what we CEO's call a character word. A CEO with integrity and honor simply means its what he plans to do. A CEO whose company is in trouble uses it as a cop-out statement, saying he had the best of intentions but really has no plan to do it, for whatever reasons.
So, the question becomes, is Rogerson a high-character guy? Most of us seem to believe so. But the word makes me nervous.
