apparently the author didn't live thru the oil tankers intentionally being run aground off the east coast in the late 60's to help force up the price of oil.....
where's the oil now....?
when I was a kid, i came out of the ocean water "dotted" with crude or stepped in clumps of crude on the beach....today, IT'S GONE! not a trace!
