A good while back I used quote.com because they offered streaming data that could be referenced in an excel cell. It allowed one to make their own real time trading model. Unfortunately, qoute.com's service went to the dogs. Now I'm using Fidelity's Active Trader Pro. It's fine for streaming prices, etc., but can only be dumped into Excel through a cumbersome freeze frame process.
System Notice: (Wed. Feb 2 1:15pm EST) Our data feed provider has now changed and these are some things to note
1) Option symbols and Indices use a different symbology. 2) The Time&Sales page is temporarily limited to the last 30 trades, in March you will be able to search through the daily Time&Sales again. 3) Preferreds have changed to include a '.P' eg: F.P.S 4) Average Daily Volume is now on the 'Profile|Share Information' page but it will return to the quote box.
