I think the author of the article is putting too much faith in a single indicator that we cannot even chart. It's a lot easier to get stocks below or above their 10 day sma's. We will have to let the market prove the veracity of this article. The charts I showed do show the 10 day sma for the DJIA, S&P 500, NASDAQ, Russell 2000 and the SMH.
We cannot show the percentages of stocks below the 10 day moving averages but we can use common sense which simply has to be saying...
TYPICALLY, don't believe everything you read.
