They are really not that important because the only date that will matter will be the "date of record" of which our Board of Directors will set. None of those rules will ever likely apply to us with this share transaction.
Maybe not with KATX this time, but if you play stocks, especially split and divvy plays which I do, you gotta now them cold or you're flying blind.
I'd say with normal splits and divvies with BB's and Pinks, 80% of the news releases get it wrong as far as when you have to own to get the divvy...I've seen some amazing screw ups.
