Mostly true, but remember you have to pay a tax on the divvy, so theoretically you could pay more in taxes than your divvy bvig will be worth in a year. I dont expect that to happen, especially after the drilling results come out!

This is not free money as the shares in KATX would have been worth that much more if it had retained the BVIG shares. Nothing is gained by getting the shares in BVIG direct. What is lost is that one cannot sell those shares for one year whatever happens.
