It wasn't a real merger? Hummmm can't you point the rest of us hillbillies the proof of that? Is there a document somewhere proving that statement. I would like to see it? I've never seen a fake merger.

How about this,

BC company goes bankrupt

Workers and upper management from BC moves to EXPO as new employees.

They still have connections and past customers who loves their work.

EXPO takes in profits, sales, customers and etc...

EXPO just expanded like they predicted.

Still sounds great to me and a great strategic plan.
