Suky, his grandfather was in numerous businesses, but made a bundle when he sold Fox to Rupert Murdoch. I think he was into the oil business also. Google "Marvin Davis Billionaire" and I think you will come up with quite a bit of info. He died this last September.
I also could care less about this reality show or what ever it is. If it gives AVWF some exposure, that would be good I guess, but to me, this show is insignificant.
As of right now, I don't think they have any competition, but could be wrong. I think once they get approval from the Nevada Gaming Commission is when this one will fly.
One thing I like is the fact that AVWF acquired DiamondITech with nothing but shares of stock. That tells me that the previous owners of DIT must be pretty confident that they will see some appreciation in the share price of AVWF, or they would be left with nothing.
This will be no competition for the off shore crowd as it is pretty saturated already, but this is something totally different than that anyway. This is all about convenience and giving the gamblers a quicker way to part them from their money.
