Huh..and I thought that was the point of Obama's Making Work Pay tax credit of $400 per single filer, $800 per couple.
If that's what you thought, then you would be wrong.
Obama didn't support this provision to the stimulus bill because it was supposed to add jobs. He did it as a means of giving more money to help support people who are *already* employed to have more take-home dollars to pay for bills and continue buying necessities that drive the economy.
During a point in which the economy was in a tail spin, that was a great idea. But in a point where the economy is on the upswing, the focus is more on the *un*employed, and tax rebate checks don't create jobs.
Are you understanding what I am saying, or is this going to be another instance where you restate your premise, or disingenuously switch the conversation to another point that I did not make?
