Rawnoc, I would agree that ANYONE who knowingly spreads false information (and not just to authorities, but in any manner not in good faith, ie, "I believe it to be true") is not acting very ethical, to say the least........
now, I can only speak for myself, and state my only discussion ever concerning this Co has been on I-hub, but citizens do have the right to contact DEC, etc with legit questions, like it or not.....that is the price of freedom, so to speak.....
of course, I would also add that if someone made such contacts, I would hope they are made in a non-malicious and professional manner, sticking to the facts......
