right you are, i meant wednesday. though i remember people being happy yesterday too.
a general pattern, not always true, is people sell on fridays. no one wants to hold the weekend. contrarily people buy on monday. odd behavior, i try to do the opposite. especially when the market tanks on a friday on such soft news.
the euro is lower again? wow. good, take a trip.
energy stocks are down? great, buy some gas and go on a road trip.
btw both are good for our economy...
oh and the job report? we added jobs, even if most were temp, instead of losing jobs for how many months in a row? so it was lower than someone projected. check with me again next month when the summer college hiring begins... or go check a job board / newspaper and tell me how many more openings there are.
and that is indicative of new hiring, not people being fired. the latter already happen and is slowing. check the unemployment numbers this month. oh what did you say, they went down? and the market went down?
things that make you go hmm... someone is being opportunistic. go buy today. maybe it spills to monday but watch next weeks cnn report say:
'stocks look to open up as investors shrug off news over euro and job report concerns, look to brighter industry reports and earnings.'
or:
'stocks look to open up as investors shrug off last weeks borderline bad news and scoop up bargains.'
