KAT Exploration has accepted the drill contract tender from Cabo Drilling to initiate a drill program of its Handcamp property in Newfoundland during the second week of May 2010. KAT plans to drill a minimum of 15 holes for a minimum of 1200 meters. However, if drilling results continue to prove successful the number of holes and meters will be extended to determine the significance of the discovery.
KAT Exploration recently announced that it had discovered up to 5840 PPB of gold in soil samples and 31.4 g/t Au in outcrop at the Handcamp gold property. Due to significant gold discoveries thus far, the company decided to stake another 52 claims to the north in the same belt of rock covering several very impressive gold and copper showings extending the overall property to 37sq KM's.
KAT Exploration believes that significant valuation will come from its Handcamp property and are exploring options for the company placing itself or selected properties on the Over the Counter Bulletin Board (OTCBB) market. The OTCBB market is a much respected market that will allow for KAT Exploration to be considered a more serious investment and gain broader coverage as the company believes it deserves.
