...and SOXY was right to point out that Amb Peck predicted in his NPR interview (and again in his interview with KO) how Israel would defend their commando raid on a boat in INTERNATIONAL WATERS - once again, they are the victim.
Spinning the dials last night I happened upon FOX while Glenn Beck was on claiming only FOX was showing how the Israeli commandos were treated when they raided a boat in INTERNATIONAL WATERS, which of course is NOT TRUE - it's been on MSNBC and CNN. Too funny - "fair and balanced" strikes again.
This morning NPR discussed conditions in Gaza - most people do not have meaningful jobs, they have little food, most eat only one meal a day and get food aid from the UN, their water supply is contaminated because their sewer system does not work properly and they don't have the pipes needed to repair it. The other side of the story from Israel is that pipes/cement can be used to make bombs, which is true, but I still don't know how Israel can possibly defend preventing food/medicine from reaching the people in Gaza.
My heart went out to the DETROIT TIGERS pitcher for his (almost) perfect game. From the replay I saw he did have a perfect game and now the ump who made the "safe" call regrets that call...btw, I was very impressed with how the TIGERS' pitcher handled an obviously huge disappointment.
