OT to zztops
I'm glad you have still found that post regarding my mutual fund selections worthwhile. Most of them did quite well in 2005 with the exception of HSGFX, which underperformed (was essentially flat).
One comment with regard to my previous posts regarding out-of-favor stocks, "fallen angels", deep value plays, etc. I am being much more cautious about this in 2005. Specifically, I am not buying stocks such as ZRAN which drop 20-30% in one day after an earnings warning or miss. If I do any bottomfishing, it will be restricted to stocks I bought last year such as JBSS and SAFM which have viable businesses and have (imo) temporarily fallen out of favor, which become beaten down due to Wall St. over-reaction.
