zeev, what do you make of this, if anything? i calculated a composite trin of the QQQ, SPY and DIA for 9/21/01, 7/24/02, 8/5/02 and 9/20/02 using only block trades of 5000 or more shares. the respective results are as follows: 116.2; 92.2; 112.2 and 97.7 on friday.

I can't speak to the insurance companies, and yeah, I'd like to know what the SEC investigation dug up, but the UAL puts don't seem entirely illogical as we were headed to the triple bottom test on a 6 yr low.
