Looks like they plan on using them for Fighting Wildfires out west and as a part of their training services. If this years fire season is as bad as last year they will pick up a lot of business.
With 4 on lease they should be able to still get defense contract for Aerial Refueling also.


"The company will have a designated number of IL-76 cargo aircraft or IL-78 tankers on contract with federal and state agencies to provide these services with minimum notification."
