I wonder if the powers-that-be will see this and take heed?...

no,...the scientific community has agreed that it is far more than BP's 5000barrel a day scenario. thats where the "we know" comes in.

They, the group of other scientists, can't yet agree on the exact amount...which why they might have to estimate.

how ridiculous is that to believe a company like BP to give accuracy in their mishap disaster. they won't.

how do they know how much oil was being dispersed ?

what instruments did they use to determine that 5000barrels were being dispersed.

most likely they are doing the same thing these other scientists are. based on the radius of the hole and the volume of oil under pressure known to be at the rig site, BP engineers and scientists can make a estimate.

the visual findings already align with much more than 5000barrels. don't you listen to the news ?

DD: recap of an earlier post re: amount of oil

"... Would you say that government and business leaders (or some people you know personally) are wildly exaggerating the truth, or underestimating the dangers, these days? If so, you are witnessing the principles of Jupiter and Uranus together in late Pisces and early Aries in the next few days. Take for instance British Petroleum’s estimate that 5000 barrels of oil per day were being spewed in the Gulf of Mexico disaster it oversaw. It turns out that was off by a factor of about 19. On Thursday, scientists revised that spillage to 95,000 barrel per day... "

This is the first I heard of this astounding and astronomically high estimate... it falls in line with the description:

"... It’s not a leak, Mr. Obama. It’s a volcanic gusher spewing out an Exxon Valdez every two to four days... "
