It could very well be that a flash-based iPod may get some overhaul of the click wheel also, but I had not heard this rumor. Hoping to get to Macworld later this week in SF and will keep my ears open if I do. I don't think such a development would be the end of the world for SYNA, btw. They seem to have an excellent handle on the interface ergonomics of CE devices.
