COLUMBUS, Ohio, Jan 7, 2005 (BUSINESS WIRE) --The Executive Board of E Med Future, Inc. (OTCBB:EMDF) has appointed D. Dane Donohue President & Chief Executive Officer. The appointment immediately followed the resignation of Robert J. Ochsendorf, the company's former President and CEO, on January 3, 2005. Donohue is one of the co-founders of E Med and served as Executive Vice President since the company's inception. In a letter to the directors, Ochsendorf cited health reasons and personal matters that needed his immediate attention.
"With increasing global awareness of our inaugural product NeedleZap(R), the top position of E Med requires much more time and effort than I am able to contribute. I am confident that NeedleZap(R) and other products currently under development will enable E Med to continue its growth and promising future with Dane Donohue as CEO," Ochsendorf said.
Donohue and others praised Ochsendorf for the selfless and tireless efforts that he dedicated to E Med Future during its developmental years. "We are all eternally grateful for the hard work that Bob poured into the company to help create worldwide awareness of NeedleZap(R)," said Donohue. "I want to express my heartfelt thanks, and best wishes for a healthier lifestyle to my life long friend."
Donohue further stated, "We are at the dawn of the next level for E Med Future, and I look forward to continuing Bob's efforts in leading the company toward that prosperity." Ochsendorf will continue to serve as a director.
