so...you are ok with people hiring illegals...not paying social security...them paying no taxes but using government help....on the other hand my taxes go up..I pay more inome tax, real estate taxes, sales tax, motor vehicle tax, etc etc..fuck that....make them pay taxes...
Most people have no sense of our history and our revolt from England. The was one thing that got our colonists pants in a bunch and that was illegal searches and seizures and quartering troops in peoples homes without asking. We made laws to forbid that but most people who are frightened will always sacrifice their freedom but more importantly others freedom.
I don't care if they ask and illegals but it's our citizens who look like they don't belong here that will be hassled.

Maybe this is where the problem really stems from? Our kids are too soft.
If the employers were fined often enough and big enough they would eventually stop hiring illegals.
This would force them to hire people legally and because the generation today wouldn't take the jobs at the price they are offering it would force them to pay a higher wage.
I don't believe that this is off the topic at all because IMO stopping people to check papers will do nothing to stop illegals from coming into the country.
Just like a stray cat or dog that knows the house that leaves the food out. If the food is stopped they will stop coming to the house.
The illegals are the cats and dogs and the jobs are the food that is left out for them.
