Can you not see that warriors fight, no holds barred, against the enemy -- even if he might be your brother -- if you believe that you must win, no matter the cost.
Why do you condemn our leaders that go for the jugular -- do you really believe that "turn the other cheek" is a viable military value.
(as an aside, I have never checked it out, but I understand it was just a battalion of Japanese troops that controlled all of Singapore in 1942-1945 with their fierceness - kill anyone at anytime -- )
