"If I end up in the dirt I guess I will be in good company"
Good company indeed! This board and the folks posting here have been part of a phenomenal learning and sharing experience for all of us. While the progressive erosion has been disheartening, the BK and associated information released clearly shows how this has been a path bent on our demise. IMO
Nevertheless, we have yet to see the results of the BK reorganization, as to whether or not we private shareholders are to be cast out like so much trash. Words such as incredible, amazing, gut wrenching all come to mind with many others, some unprintable here.
I think that INTENT is a key word. What has been the real intent? How long have shareholders been bled while FAILURE WAS THE ONLY OPTION? Lots of questions.
Regardless, it appears that Milford and Beaver County and the resources will be both protected and prosper in time. That is some good possibly come from all of this apparent deception and mismanagement of a very fine opportunity. IMO
We'd just as well put the word out for those who still hold out hope for the rendezvous. As a result of this BK news release, it does not appear that the rendezvous is in good taste nor prudent to proceed with. While each investor will make their own decision, it is regretfully my concluding comment that to JUST SHOW UP is no longer on the table.
Too much blood has been spilled and there may be more to come. While this is a heart breaker, I can not imagine that such a gathering would be in the best interest of the community or the investors. My suggestion is that we wait and see whether or not the SHAREHOLDERS MEETING actually comes to be.
