Christopher Sontchi
Christopher S. Sontchi graduated from the Law School in 1992. Before coming to Chicago, he attended The University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and obtained a B.A. with distinction in Political Science.
After graduating from the Law School, Judge Sontchi returned to his native Delaware to serve as a law clerk to the Hon. Joseph T. Walsh in the Delaware Supreme Court. After clerking, he entered private practice where he represented a wide variety of nationally based enterprises with diverse interests in most of the larger Chapter 11 reorganization proceedings filed in Delaware. In 2006, he was appointed as a United States Bankruptcy Judge for the District of Delaware.
