Agree on the PR - the title sounded great 'Goodbye CE' or something like that, like the title of a book or a movie. But then the content - sheesh. 'We're working on it' .. 'that's nice' we think, until market reaction, including the babies you mention, tanks the stock causing panic. You're right - maybe say nothing until it's done, let people discover it and then announce when it's complete, rather than say 'we have plans to submit and then wait for approval, while we make all of you guess how long that may all take, and we thank all of you loyal shareholders in advance for whatever patience some of you can muster .. blah blah .. hoping for that great day when not only the CE is removed, which we know is a big deal, but when people can actually buy our products and tell others how great they are'.
The PR was like so many status meetings at work - 'Yeah, we're working on that; Mike tells me sometime next week, but it depends on whether we get approval, how much is in the budget, and when we get those designs from the guys in Engineering, two of whom are on vacation'. Just glue Dilbert under a copy of the PR.
I'm a big fan of success stories where an underdog, new product, new idea, or failed attempt at something - starts to win, catch on, do some good, turn up, and start to succeed again. But. I guess those things take time, and it's disappointing when people bungle steps along the way, cover for irresponsibility, etc. - and I guess all need to be a little patient, and protect themselves too.
I'll just wait as long as I can for now - I agree it will turn up eventually, if they deliver, the market allows it, and people stop panic selling every time some tiny thing goes wrong.
