A bulk sample is on the order of a ton or more. A grab sample is like shovel- fulls or even what you could grab in your hand. Depends on whether vein or placer material. It also depends on whether the ore dump was before or after processing and is therefore from original extraction or tailings. 2 ounces per ton could be a wow or it could be nothing big, thats why exploration is important. Now if there is a million tons of 2oz/ton material, then we would all be upgrading our homes and standard of living.
