>>Ok and what do you expect from the next weeks?<<
I am not in it for "the next weeks." I am in it for as long as it takes to become a profitable company. They have a product with fabulous potential to change our lives, going way beyond restaurant orders and sales.
Imagine kids on the beach selling you cold drinks from a portable cooler using an ipad 3G. Hot dog and coffee carts on the street. Stadiums and concerts. Roadside "hawkers" in traffic jams. Balloon or kite or souvenir vendors in a public event or park. Theme park/Disneyland vendors using your park pass card to charge it.
You carry plastic and leave the cash at home. Lone vendors don't have to worry about getting robbed of cash. Leave the cash transactions for the drug dealers.
Or beachside bars, where one circling server takes your order with an ipad, does not have to walk all the way back to the bar to place the order and bring the drinks, and another delivers it ASAP using the ipad GPS data for where the order was placed. Efficiently cover a huge area quickly with teamwork coordinated by the cloud-based system!
Imagine using a customer app from Lecere on your smartphone to order ahead, or from afar, and the vendor knows exactly where to send your drinks or pizza (GPS-linked order), or what your ETA is to the restaurant, so they can have the food ready as you arrive.
It may not be part of the public announcements from Lecere yet, but the possibilities of having your menu updated instantaneously in the cloud and having customers able to check on their iphone or blackberry when there are reservation openings, what the specials are, etc. This is where the technology can take us. Cheap up front costs are only part of the attraction for a restaurant owner. Being connected to customers and suppliers through the cloud is the future of this sort of technology.
Seen the PayPal app on the iphone? Why carry cash anymore? If Lecere can give us an iphone app to pay the bill, we would not even need to worry about carrying credit cards! We can carry an "electronic wallet" that is more secure.
What scenarios can others envision using a cloud-based cellular POS system for instantaneous transactions?
Have faith and buy on the dips. This company will succeed.
