I think he means that BBDA is acting as the agent of sale and does in fact get money for selling POtencia
"Effective immediately the two companies have entered into an agreement that all future sales and marketing of the Potencia branded products (which include the 3 year old Potencia Energy Drink and the Potencia Blast 2 oz. energy shot) will be done through the BeBevCo Company. This in itself will bring annual sales numbers of BeBevCo up 2-2.5 million dollars in 2010 alone. "We are very excited we will be consolidating these brands into one company and eliminating any confusion that needed clarification when dealing with distributors and retailers, as the products were run through parallel companies since I took over at BeBevCo in April," said Brian Weber BeBevCo CEO. "Our dedication to the long term vision for BeBevCo is getting more defined as we will also consider bringing in other brands to our portfolio that have high potential for future growth.""
They will do what they have to do to merge a privately held company with a publicly held company. Maybe that is why they hired a law firm with expertise in listing stocks and mergers and acquisitions.
Why do you continue to ignore the fact that you can't just randomly include another company's revenue in your financials?
This is what I was thinking. It also occurs to me that BBDA can claim pretty much whatever they want as income from sales of Potencia products with no way to prove it because Potencia is not a public company. How convenient! It sure would make BBDA's stock look more attractive with a few million in phantom sales on the books.
Am I the only person to think that having a really close relationship between a public corporation and a private company with common ownership, both engaged in the same industry, is more than just a little strange? I almost forgot the third private company with the same ownership, the one that owns the trademarks.
I really hope some kind of official scrutiny is brought to bear on this clusterf*ck of companies. They are either unwilling or unable to clarify things on their own, so someone needs to do it for them.
