Jesus, are you really asking me of all people if I have read the 8-K? The 8-k said Ken bought the company him self, not KATX, yes that is correct. What isn't know is if Ken used his own money for it or if he used captial from KATX. You were implying that he used his own personal money to buy it which might not be the case.

Some of the land stakes are done in individual names. I believe it was reported that everyone working for the company signed some sort of paper indicating that things belong to the company, even if held in individual names. Perhaps the shell falls into this category as well.
