I like that wonderboy. I also use the indicators that way. They help me screen out the wannabes. I like the use of the ADX 7 because it is much faster in its confirmations. That is why I put together my quick spot template for charting potential stocks. Screen them wonderboy. 2005 you can come alive.
wonderboy, I reprogrammed the whole spreadsheet and made that value variable. You can see in my example that I just have a field to put the period in (like your moving average example). From the original Liquidity-Ratio spreadsheet, a lot had to be changed to do what you (and I) want wonderboy. Now, with my LR-Grapher, it all works great together with both the look-back days and period adjustable. I do this because, as in ADX and MA's, each stock reacts differently to its Liquidity-Ratio ... so finding the right Liquidity-Ratio period that a stock "bounces off of" or changes direction when a certain level is hit can easily be done by varying the period and looking at its Liquidity-Ratio vs. Price Graph ... also included is its Volume vs. Price Graph which is very telling as well. AND ... the two graphs are lined up underneath each other for further cross-comparison.
