Scragapenny, I don't believe you have to worry about this company starting the mining operation. There would be millions of dollars of equipment and infastructure to purchase. This entire operation will be JVed or the company will merge with a much larger operation, thats why I say the company needs to just get to the next level of explaration. If the gold is in large enough quantities then the race is on. I figure 2 months tops.
