9:20am 09/11/02 Microsoft in talks to acquire game developer Rare Ltd. (MSFT)
Microsoft Corp. (MSFT) is in negotiations to acquire game development studio Rare Ltd., according to the L.A. Times. Nintendo Co. owns 49 percent of Rare, developer of hit games such as "Donkey Kong Country" and "Banjo Kazooie." The L.A. Times report did not mention financial terms.
On the other hand it is a rare employee that doesn't complain about the speed of their computer or at least use that as an excuse. Often it can be network congestion or other problems.
