Communications I've been able to find....
In mid 2001 I received the post-thinning report of my 1993 teak.
In mid 2004 I received the pre-thinning report of my 1997 teak.
In late 2006 I received the post-thinning report of my 1997 teak.
I received an e-mail in early 2007 in response to an e-mail I sent the same day asking about the second thinning status of my 1993 teak trees. The response was that they would be thinned in the upcoming dry season that year. I was told I would receive a pre-thinning report when it was available, but never did.
The most recent communication I received from TATF was just a few days ago, in response to an e-mail I sent the previous day. The e-mail I received contained a registry report of my trees, and information similar to what is on the What's New page at their website. I was also told every tree owner that had trees ready to be thinned would soon receive an update asking what each tree owner wanted to have done with those trees.
So, I don't know how many thinnings my various trees have had, but apparently the second thinning of my 1993 teak did not occur before 2007 (if they had a second thinning). So, at best that's years behind the scheduled second thinning.
I see what you mean... if you don't know what's been thinned, how can you direct what you want done with it. I guess I was assuming everyone that owned old enough trees had also received at least one thinning report by now, given that TATF has appeared to be a couple years behind on getting them out.
