Swizzly I have never heard of "through the flower". I assume it is similiar to saying "Sugar coating it" I like the truth, good or bad, based on facts of course. I don't like those that want to get ugly or hateful with everyone. I think what you said was fine. Narvo may have been trying to be funny too. Maybe Narvo will answer and I can quit guessing at what he was trying to say.
My dad was stationed in Nuremberg during Vietnam. He and my mom liked it pretty well. Talked about how pretty it was. Even went to the hill where they filmed "The Sound of Music".
