Why not cure the sickness - corps/businesses hiring cheap labor - instead of putting a Band-Aid on the problem? Fact is, business owners/corps have a loud voice - immigrants have no voice so it's easier to jump all over them and blame them for the problem. No jobs = fewer illegal immigrants.
